Great room clean and quiet. Managers were great accommodating my schedule. Watch out for deer and meandering river scenes! They are beautiful
Room was clean and cozy. Checking in and out was easy. The owners are extremely welcoming and polite. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Walton/ Delhi area.
I had to attend an open house at SUNY Delhi. The Inn at Octagon Acres was a perfect place to stay for our overnight visit. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect, only a 15 minute ride to the school. We will definitely be back.
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. Amenities such as microwave, refrigerator were in the room. very nice quality. Coffee/tea in the lobby - complimentary. Quick ride to downtown. approx 15 minutes. The sheets were synthetic so they kept the heat in. I prefer cotton sheets. Lots of comfy pillows. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but did the job. The sheets and bed were the reason I have the 4 star. I would definitely go back and stay.
I recently stayed at the Inn at Octagon Acres for about a week and a half. During my stay I was very much impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness and professionalism of the proprietors. I highly recommend the Inn for your stay in the area.
We stayed at the inn at Octagon Acres while visiting family in Walton, NY. Clean, cozy rooms. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again.
I stayed here for one night while visiting my son who is studying at a local college. Good size room and bathroom. Very clean and super comfortable bed. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there was no breakfast included, not even a pre packaged muffin and there was no milk for my morning coffee :-) Other than that, I enjoyed my stay there.
I have stayed at the Octagon many times over the past decade or so. It has always been a quaint, clean and affordable stay when visiting Hamden (which is often). Now that it is under new mgt., I am pleased to report that the new ownership is just as kind and dedicated as has always been. Very kind and family oriented owners who truly want your stay to be as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend the Octagon for a nice, safe and affordable home when visiting the Northern Catskills.
